Caffeinated Black Tea
How you longed for the smoky taste of bourbon on a rainy day but don't want a hangover? Have you desperately wanted someone to pour you a glass of whiskey on the rocks after reading the latest news in 2020, but can't go to a bar because of da rona? This Kentucky Bourbon tea suits many different occasions in the hailstorm also known as 2020, without making you tipsy.
This black tea contains hints of barrel-smoked malt, caramel, roasted apple, and vanilla. It contains all the smokiness of a sipping bourbon without the downsides of booze.
One bag contains enough for between 22-27 cups.
How to Use
For a hot tea, steep one teaspoon per cup at 212°F/100°C for 3 minutes.
If you'd prefer a cold drink, you can cold brew the tea by steeping for 8 to 12 hours in cold water and then straining (A french press is perfect for cold brewing!)
Zero Proof Vegan Whiskey Sour
Shake 1 oz of aquafaba in cocktail shaker by itself for 20 seconds. Add 2oz of tea, and 3/4 oz of lemon juice and ice to the cocktail shaker and shake for 10 seconds. Serve over a large ice cube and enjoy.
